What's the best way to clear out my A/C drainage line?

I've have tried many diff ways, what's the best? is there something I can pour down the line to clear it w/out damaging the pcv pipe? Can it be snaked? I've been told by blowing compressed air could damage the pvc. pls desperate for an answer..
