I'm looking for a R&B song. It was sung by a group of guys sometime in 1996 or 1997.?

The group sounds strongly like a group called "Shai" and the lyrics to the chorus goes something like "Stop the love you save may be your own, stop or you may find yourself alone". It's a very slow, sensual song. I've looked every where for this song!!! Much thanx :)
