Was Moe Norman a better ball striker than Ben Hogan.?

Yes...no doubt about it Moe was the best ball striker ever and I'll tell ya how good he was. On the driveing range at Bay hill; wearing only street shoes and useing a borrowed three iron that was set four degrees upright ;while Moes own clubs are set at least four degrees flat he went at it. Moe had been proded into showing a pro with a totaly opposite swing as his own; how to strike a ball. There was a left to right cross wind blowing steady at 20mph....the worst kinda wind for a right handers to keep their balance in. Moe empty a bucket of ; talking as he was swinging....every ball landed dead on top of a range flag...seemingly not moving a inch throught its flight. This was on a Wednesday and the range was pack full of the so called golfing greats. Palmer, Watson, Strange..ect..probably two dozen or more. In time they all stop hiting and started watching..this was in 90 or 91....I would have to say most had no idea who he was..or that that wasnt even his club...but they knew what they were watching. The best ball striker they ever seen; at this time Moes age was somewhere in the early fiftys...in 96 in Canada I seen him droping on the dirt on a driving range and swinging a driver...'Working' the ball off the dirt with a drvier inbetween a gallary set so tight to his left and right that it was border line insane to be attempting anything like this; let alone doing these shots from a lie that he didnt even touch after he drop the ball. As he had said "The ball will fit...ball will fit; three foot opening two inch ball lots of room; the ball will fit".When anyone ask him what his best round ever was he would reply " Five pins" ya see Moe always aimed at the pin...and one day hit five pins in one round; all of them shots to the green in regulation (you can guess that back then none of those shots were within 100 yards)....now if only he was good at rolling the little devil...oh well as it has been said 'God doesnt give us everything'
