Shotgun 'ammo' for plinking?

Shotgun plinking can be fun but there are a few limitaions.... If you will be shooting bird shot or skeet loads you will get bored real fast..... Your gun goes pow and nothing really happens.... I plink with buckshot and slugs..... 2 3/4 inch 9 pellet buckshot is great. 2 3/4 inch slugs are great to target shoot with. ...... TRUST ME on this - DO NOT shoot anything 3 inch. The recoil is really obnoxious!! Yeah you might be a tough guy but after 4 or 5 rounds of those you will wish you didnt..... I am able to shoot about 40 to 50 rounds of 2 3/4 inch slugs or buckshot before my shoulder bothers me... As long as your blasting away put up a couple of big sheets of paper and fire at it with the buckshot from various distances.... That way you can get an idea what pattern your shells shoot.... Dont forget the ear plugs and safety gles!!! Have Fun!!
